City breaks in Sofia and Prague - 5 Days

Arrival to Sofia airport. Meet and assist for transfer and accommodation at the hotel selected.
Dinner at Indian restaurant. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

Buffet breakfast in the hotel.
Short panoramic tour around Sofia and visit to the most interesting historical sights: the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the St. Sofia Church, which had given the name of the city and the historical and cultural center of the capital. Lunch in Indian restaurant.
Afternoon tour (5 hours) to Rila Monastery (UNESCO object). Guided visit the monastery. Founded in 10th c, it was the biggest Bulgarian medieval spiritual centre with rich collection of icons, wall-paintings, old-printed books – some 15 000 volumes. Arrival back in Sofia. Dinner at Indian restaurant. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast – transfer to the airport to catch flight to Prague. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Free time. Dinner at Indian restaurant. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

Optional: Ship cruise including lunch or dinner.

After breakfast – Walking tour through the Old town.
You will be shown the historical center of the capital during this walk. From Powder Gate we will follow the Royal Route towards the Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Square. Walk around Karlova Ulice (Charles Street) to Charles Bridge. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of Kampa Island and Prague Castle. The tour terminates on the Lesser Town Square near St. Nicholas Church, the jewel of baroque Prague Lunch at Indian restaurant.

In the afternoon – half day SIC sightseeing tour including Prague castle. See also the Municipal House, Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, Charles Square followed by a ride along the beautiful riverside, across the River Vltava to visit Prague Castle.
Dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Return back to the hotel and overnight.

After breakfast – free time.
Transfer to the airport and flight back home.
